Introducing the Lucid Quilt

Inspired by crystals, the Lucid Quilt is full of possibility. By choosing fabrics based on their value, it creates a faceted look. Whether you’re choosing a singular color or adding variety, the quilt uses one dark fabric, one medium fabric, two light fabrics and two lighter fabrics.

These diamonds are the result of foundation paper piecing, a great technique for sharp points and consistent results. I walk you through the construction of the diamonds in this tutorial

Get creative with your fabric choices, keeping in mind the value of each and how it can play out in the quilt. I can’t wait to see what you make.

Happy sewing!
