I’m Teresa Coates, a sewing educator, quilt maker, travel writer, pattern designer and relentless adventurer. I’m here to help you fall in love with sewing. I design sewing and quilting patterns with beginners in mind, and I try to bridge the divide between sewing and quilting.
I’m the host of Sew Together Tuesday, a live, instructional show for Shannon Fabrics that resembles an in-person workshop, except that it’s on YouTube! In 2021, we launched Sew Together Tuesday: On the Road and spent more than a year visiting quilt and fabric shops across the country, turning it into The Great American Shop Hop , which I continue to do any chance I get.
