Sew Together Tuesday: Pete the Pup

Several years ago I visited Cozy Creative Center, so when I pulled up and this was the storefront I was confused. This isn’t how I’d remembered it at all and I’m usually really good at remembering that sort of thing. Turns out, they moved down the street, so it was the same street name, different storefront. LOL! Not only is a different building, it’s bigger and better than before.

Located just 20 minutes from downtown San Diego, Cozy Creative Center is packed with just about everything you could need including hundreds of Cozy Quilt Designs patterns!

They have a beautiful selection of quilting cottons and lots of precuts! Need a machine? They’ve got BERNINA and Brother machines! Looking for machine embroidery threads and stabilizers? They’ve got that, too. Seriously, it’s a great shop and they offer a bunch of it online at cozyquilt.com. For our classes, they stocked up on their Cuddle selection and made some really lovely Self Binding Blanket kits. I’m not sure if they are still available, but you can always reach out and ask.

While we were there, we joined Daniela, Maureen and crew for their Monday Night Live and then did our Sew Together Tuesday. There was a full audience of folks at the shop, plus the online audience, of course.

If you missed it and want to see how to put together the adorable Puppy Dog Pete on my vintage Singer Featherweight, no less, you can always catch it on YouTube.

Thanks again to Cozy Creative Center for hosting Sew Together Tuesday: On the Road and both the Puppy class and the Self Binding Blanket class. We had a ton of fun and I can’t wait til next January when we’ll be back!

Happy sewing!
