You may be familiar with Jenny Ryan’s name if you read CRAFTzine.com. She wrote the book Sew Darn Cute back in 2009, but the date isn’t so important, the projects are still absolutely adorable.They are quick and easy (great for beginners!) and I really, really wanted to try out the crochet hook cozy.
This morning I got up a bit early, yet again, to work for a few minutes on my last Quilts for Quake Survivors quilt. I’ve worked on five different quilts–making patchwork squares, quilting the sandwiches and hand-stiching the binding on others. I haven’t been able to do as much as I would like, but it’s been something. I’m grateful to Susan and Daniela for spearheading the project and making something good happen after a very tragic event.
